These Terms of Service govern your use of crestovtrex (crestovtrex s.r.o.) and its services. By accessing our website and enrolling in our marionette puppet making classes, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue your use of our website and services immediately. We are committed to providing a clear and transparent relationship with our users regarding the rights and responsibilities of both parties.

Scope of Services

We offer traditional Czech marionette carving and string puppet painting workshops conducted in Prague by experienced craftspeople. Our classes provide hands-on instruction in the historical techniques of marionette puppet making, including wood carving, joint construction, and traditional string painting methods. These workshops are designed for individuals of varying skill levels, from absolute beginners to advanced enthusiasts seeking to deepen their knowledge of this traditional craft. All instruction materials, tools, and guidance are provided as part of the class experience, though participants may purchase their own materials for continued practice outside our workshops.

User Obligations

By participating in our classes, you agree to conduct yourself respectfully and follow all safety guidelines provided by our instructors. You are responsible for reading and understanding all workshop materials and instructions before attending your session. We expect all participants to treat our facilities, equipment, and fellow students with care and respect. You acknowledge that marionette making involves the use of sharp tools and that you participate in these activities at your own risk. We reserve the right to refuse service or remove any individual whose conduct violates our community standards or poses a safety risk to others.

Intellectual Property

All instructional materials, designs, techniques, and content provided by us during our workshops are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the knowledge and skills acquired in our classes for personal and non-commercial purposes only. You are not permitted to reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any of our proprietary workshop materials, designs, or instructional videos without explicit written permission. Marionettes and puppets created by you during our workshops are your personal property; however, we retain the right to use photographs of completed projects for promotional purposes with your consent.

Limitations of Liability

We provide our services on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in our classes or use of our website. This includes injuries sustained during workshop activities, loss of personal items, or dissatisfaction with learning outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we limit our liability to the amount paid for the specific workshop or service in question. We strongly recommend that all participants obtain appropriate insurance coverage if desired, as we cannot be held responsible for accidents or injuries that may occur during class activities.

Termination of Services

We reserve the right to terminate your access to our workshops and website at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these terms or disruptive behavior. Cancellations requested by participants must be made in accordance with our posted cancellation policy. In the event of class cancellation by us due to insufficient enrollment or circumstances beyond our control, we will offer alternative dates or full refunds. Termination of your access will not affect your rights regarding marionettes already created during completed workshops. Any outstanding fees or obligations remain payable regardless of service termination.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising from these terms shall be exclusively brought in the competent courts located in the Czech Republic. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of these courts and waive any objections to venue or inconvenient forum. The Czech legal system provides the framework for interpreting and enforcing all rights and obligations under these terms.
